Wire fraud is real in real estate transactions….and it really hurts our clients.
1. First sign, you are on a dating site and someone is asking for money.
2. What happens if you are one of the 48 people who can’t close on their house because of this?

4. In Missouri, the Missouri Real Estate Commission has the right to audit your escrow account…I don’t hold an escrow account for this reason…rather we keep escrows at the title company. You can see where this would be a problem should some employee at the title company be untoward.
