Driveway Etiquette What do you think?

Thoughts:
1. I look at someone’s driveway as their own. It’s not mine. I feel uncomfortable turning around in someone’s driveway and do what I can to avoid it. I confess that I have done it on some occasion.
2. I think there is an understanding of “reciprocity” That is…if I am going to use your driveway to turn around, it would be more than appropriate for you to use mine should the situation arise.
3. My kids used to ride their bikes on the driveway of this one house…drove me nuts. Like, that’s not yours to be driving on.
4. What about when you park on someone’s driveway as a friend? So I come to visit you and there’s a spot on my driveway. Do I park there or on the street?
5. As a real estate agent? Where do I park. I never park on the driveway unless it’s a busy street and I can’t park. In a subdivision I always park on the street. The only exception was one time when my car battery was dying and if I turned off the car it wasn’t going to start so I pulled the car close to the house in the driveway and let it run during my showing.
6. What would possess you to put down spike strips? Isn’t that escalating things a little too much?
