a. copyright law is hard to understand…is it a remnant of a time long past? Contrast that with NAR policies formed over 100 years ago. It’s this struggle between historical precedence and the current world we find ourselves in.
b. Have some of these well intentioned laws held us back?

-Microbreweries
-Anything we make today is easily copied within weeks from china, who has a very different view of intellectual property
-Faucets…there used to be moen and delta. Easy to get parts. Now there is 40 different manufacturers. Are we better for it?
-companies like paypal, tesla, uber, and many others know that they are outside the regulatory space and try to carve out a place in advance of the regulation that they know is coming.
Rents spiraling higher….rental market moves super fast…contrast that with a 30 yr fixed rate mortgage…there is something there…we will try to discuss.
