All right, everybody. I’m in another parking lot. I don't know if you know this, but real estate agents, especially residential ones, spend like 90% of their time in the car. Today, I’m in Crestwood, and right now, I’m running an errand for myself. I’m getting a new floor jack at Harbor Freight—very exciting! I use it to change the oil and rotate the tires on all my cars and the family's cars. My current jack only goes up to 18 inches, but the new one goes to 21 inches with a 4-inch extension. Very exciting stuff!

I wanted to talk about something that's been driving me crazy—my YouTube channel and its audience breakdown. If you've seen my channel, what would you guess the demographic split is between men and women? Would you think it’s 50/50? What if I told you it was something like 98% men and 2% women? Would that surprise you? It surprises me! It goes against everything we’re told about everyone liking the same things equally. No, there are clear demographic differences—people gravitate towards different things.

I don’t know what I’m doing to make my channel so male-dominated. I could be wrong, maybe it’s 92% men, but I really think it’s closer to 98%. I'll flash the statistics up on the screen when I get back to the house.

Another thing that’s interesting is the age breakdown of my viewers. 40.9% are 18 to 24 years old, and 49.9% are 25 to 34. So, almost 50% of my audience is between 25 and 34. Then, 9% of my audience is between 35 and 44. I’m 47, so the fact that younger people are watching my content is uplifting. There are so many younger, generationally cooler people on YouTube.

So, what should I do? I’m not trying to have an all-male audience. That wasn’t my goal. I don’t wake up every day thinking, “How can I get more men to watch my content?” It’s just happening. I’m grateful for every viewer, but the concentration is mind-blowing. Anyway, I thought you’d find that interesting.

We’ll be talking a lot more about YouTube soon because it’s such a fascinating platform—and I’m really bad at it. I had a video this week that only got seven views. Seven! I’ve definitely angered the YouTube gods. When I post the same content on Twitter (or X) or on Locals, it gets way more views. It’s so odd because YouTube's recommendation engine is considered the best in the world, yet it doesn’t recommend any of my content.

Well, I’ve gone on long enough. I hope you have a good rest of your day, and I’ll catch you tomorrow. Later!
