Thoughts
1. Sovereign citizens don’t mess around with real estate. When they see a vacant home they go for it.
2. The trouble that the owner had to go through just to get them out of the house is something that should be looked at.
3. This is why I’m confused by the way the world is going. This sovereign citizen thing just blows my mind. They believe they are not subject to the laws of the United States…but in this way, there are many people who aren’t sovereign citizens that also believe the laws don’t apply to them.
4. As a real estate agent, one of the first things I do when listing a home is to get a copy of the tax records, and then make sure the person I am talking to is the actual owner of the house. They have to have the ability to sell the house or I’m wasting my time. Look at what happened in this case. They called out a listing agent, got a home inspector, etc. They were really going to try to sell this house.
