A landlord has settled with the DOJ for sexual harassment. No jailtime!!!

Thoughts

1. 177,000 to settle a fair housing complaint regarding sexual harassment. The statement says he is being “held accountable”? seriously

2. No jailtime.

3. As I make this video, it’s a call to prospective tenants that this sort of thing apparently happens, and it’s not OK. Don’t put yourself into a situation where you think this is OK. Move. Break your lease.

4. 55 units are owned…he is supposed to get rid of them and not manage properties anymore.

5. Perhaps a 3rd party management company would be better?

6. Just irritated that people do this sort of thing.
